Will the Red Wings have to split up Datsyuk and Zetterberg?

No I do not mean split them up as in a trade, I mean split them up on a line.
The plan going in to the pre season was with the addition of Weiss datsyuk and Zetterberg can play on a line all year long however so far this preseason it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. I wrote a piece earlier and I touched on the 2nd line a bit but I’m here now to take more thenjust a couple sentences to talk about it.
Last season datsyuk and Zetterberg were split up a lot of the season because the 2nd line just weren’t putting up points meaning Datsyuk most of the time centered the 2nd line. With the red wings letting Filppula walk it and the signing of Weiss it looked like dats and z would be on the same line all season but not the case though 3 games played with the 2nd line being the priemer line in all 3 games they have put up 0 points and have just not looked good. You can still blame it on chemistry for now but the exuse will not last for ever. There is also the fact that Alfredsson has only played 1 game with his line this preason due to a groin injury but that is nothing to big and should be good to go by the first game of the regular season. But the 2nd line is key to a good season for the WingsDats & Z can’t carry the Wings into the playoffs on there lonesome. So lets hope that the 2nd works its self out.
