Are the Dallas Cowboys planning the unexpected?? An actual high scoringOffense....

The Dallas Cowboys made some surprise picks in this years draft for sure. Everyone thought Defense was the going to rule the board but it was the opposite for the Dallas Cowboys. I am a Cowboy fan and the 31st pick gave them flexibility they didn’t have last year and as I have discussed before also gets them younger at skilled positions. What a great choice to have Whitten help a youth come up and play over the next two to three years. Then the Dallas Cowboys made another surprise pick taking a wide receiver with the next pick instead of a Safety or D-lineman… Guess they plan on putting up tons of points this coming year to keep up with the other teams, because they will for sure be giving them up too!!

But Cowboy Fans lets not forget they Just signed Romo to a Huge deal and last year the offense was not that creative, so what do you do when you spend that kind of money on a QB?? Well you build a Team around Him!! Cowboy fans will have to wait and see if this year we have a good second TE, a good 3rd wide receiver and find a Running Back that can take 20 carries and spread the Offense to score points that lacked last year.

  2. Cowboys will be another 8 and 8 team. Still got same QB, still got same coach, still got same GM. Been a Cowboy fan for 50 years, but the reality of the situation is still there. Excitement will reign, the day Tony Romo and Jason Garrett have their last game!

  3. Wow what a draft, waste of my time to wait and watch the Cowboys pick losers. We got like 3 players that will amount to something. The other 4 will be released or traded, before the season started. One center that no one heard off for help with O line, sheesh. Then you get a TE that can't block, you will probably released after two years, like Fasano, Bennett and Phillips. Wide Receiver, that doesn't use his hands to catch passes, rather his body catches for him. I like the running back for the 4th rd pick, but we could had gotten others better before him, like Lacy or Ball. CB, who the heck is this guy? Linebacker is a solid pick for sixth round. But didn't we change to a 4-3, so where is the DT, Ratliff, can't stay healthy, instead of going to get some help, you go and get another LB for a 4-3 defense. One more year Jerry, thats all I'm giving you. Ever since the three left, and you kicked Jimmy to the curve, this team has gone nowhere. Maybe if you want to lose every year, you should sell this team to someone else who cares.

  5. could have had the center in the 3rd. should've gotten more out of sf for the trade. line men, line men, line men is what we need. defense or offense doesnt really matter. 10-6 at best this year gang.

  6. Isn't 10-6 a good record? Why so whiney? The only thing I think they did wrong was not get enough for the trade. They had better players available for the first pick and Frederick would have been available in the 2nd or 3rd. Seemed like a wasted opportunity.

  7. Would have added Barret Jones to sturdy up line since he was such a late pick. He has a great work ethic and can play multiple positions. Cowboys need a line to control line of scrimmage in order to keep defense off of field. We are never going to have a #1 defense and a #1 offense at the same time. Lets make sure we are very solid on offense and the defense will hold there own. We rely on the passing game too much. We need to run effectively to have defense stack the box and then less pressure on Romo to pass. Offensive line is the biggest key to the future success of OUR COWBOYS. Hopefully all the negative comments will light a fire under Travis Frederick!!!
