The Patriots are still the best franchise in the AFC. The problem is that their weaknesses are the same every season. They have a weak defense and no deep threat on the outside. Last year they tried to use Chad Johnson and this year is Lloyd, neither are helping out. The defense is young and can be exposed. How far can they go?
Here's a look at their remaining schedule, predictions and the rest of their division
@ St. Louis - Fisher is building something in St. Louis but they're not ready to beat the Pats.
Buffalo - The Bills turn it over too much and can't play defense, Pats win.
Colts - Luck is growing as a rookie but the Pats defense will turn the rookie over.
@ Jets - The Jets hung around last game, but I don't see that happening again. Pats roll.
@ Miami - Another rookie QB for the Pats to harass, no chance for the Dolphins here.
Houston - The Texans and their defense come to New England and pound Brady. Houston has a very good offense and they'll beat the Pats here.
San Francisco - This could be a Super Bowl preview. The Pats face the top two defenses two weeks in a row. Brady and the offense will have their hands full but I think they shut down Alex Smith enough to win this game.
@ Jacksonville - No way Pats lose here.
Miami - The Pats wrap up the season with a home win against a division opponent.
The Patriots are once again rolling up wins and will make the playoffs as the AFC East Champs. The problem is, they have not had enough defense to win the Super Bowl. With Houston coming on strong, I don't see the Pats making it all the way this season. They do end the regular season at 12-4.
